Keynote Speaker
Dr. Soibi Godwin-Clark is the pioneer Executive Director of Brace Foundation and a senior executive at Rainoil Ltd with 29+ years’ experience across legal practice, academia, oil & gas, venture capital and nonprofit leadership.
Dr. Soibi Godwin-Clark is the pioneer Executive Director of Brace Foundation for Children and simultaneously oversees Brace Foundation for Children and the Gabriel Ogbechie Foundation (GOF). Brace Foundation for Children focuses on the education and holistic wellbeing of children with special needs.
She is a General Manager with Rainoil Limited where she directs the affairs of the executive office and advises on legal, corporate and commercial matters at Group level. She supports leadership across Rainoil and Eterna Plc, two of Nigeria’s largest downstream oil companies operating over 310 service stations, fuel depots and logistics assets nationwide.
Prior to her current role, she was a Partner in a UK–Nigeria law firm, opening their Belfast office while undertaking her doctoral research at Queen’s University Belfast. She led the entry of several companies into the Nigerian market, including a pharmaceutical firm that invested over £73 million.
She previously served as a senior lecturer and course coordinator at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) for over a decade, receiving awards for academic leadership. Before NOUN, she was Director of Projects & Legal at Growing Businesses Foundation, where her team won national recognition for deploying mobile technology initiatives supporting agricultural enterprises and rural banking.
With over 29 years’ experience — 18 of them at C-Suite and Board levels — she has worked in legal practice, venture capital, pensions, oil & gas, education and nonprofit sectors. She has advised on contracts and investments exceeding £300 million and managed teams of up to 80 staff across multiple organisations.
Dr. Godwin-Clark is a chaplain, life coach and committed CSR advocate. She is convener of several philanthropic initiatives supporting children with disabilities and community welfare. She is married to Godwin Clark and they are blessed with children.
